Inheritance Poem by Jennifer M.
I inherited my green eyes from my grandma.
Light, not blue.
The color of grass, the color of trees.
Green eyes from my grandma.
Only her eyes can prove,
that I inherited them from her.
Green eyes.
lean eyes.
Light, not blue.
The color of grass, the color of trees.
Green eyes from my grandma.
Only her eyes can prove,
that I inherited them from her.
Green eyes.
lean eyes.
Poet - Giselle R.
We shared a bond through those little blue dolphins,
Her favorite animal,
One of the most beautiful creatures,
As i doze off and I stare into this necklace,
Memories.. Flashbacks of the days we would go to the beach,
Those days when she was healthy and happy,
The days i would sleep over and share laughs,
Later, those laughs turned into coughs,
But just looking at this necklace reminds me of that temporary tattoo,
The dolphin one she got at the Fair,
I'm so glad that we got to share,
Share all of those wonderful memories,
They are not temporary like that dolphin tattoo,
No these memories last forever.
This necklace... i will keep forever,
Her favorite animal,
One of the most beautiful creatures,
As i doze off and I stare into this necklace,
This necklace... i will keep forever,
INHERITANCE by Armae
I would like to inherit my father's tall nose.
Or the fragrance around my mother from her head to her toes.
I would like my uncle's humor.
But not my Grandma's tumor.
I inherited my mom's understanding personality
And my dad's disappointment in bad grades, a natural ability.
I inherited my aunts hair and stature.
And my uncle who is a camera man's ability to capture.
These are all the personalities and gifts that I have taken.
There is more, I'm sure, I hope I'm not mistaken.

There is more, I'm sure, I hope I'm not mistaken.
INHERITANCE by Ashley C
I always wanted to inherit my moms personality
the way she talks to people like she has known them all her eternity
and make friends wherever she goes
always putting a smile on peoples faces
by telling them jokes and stories
that’s why I want to inherit my moms personality
the way she talks to people like she has known them all her eternity
and make friends wherever she goes
always putting a smile on peoples faces
by telling them jokes and stories
that’s why I want to inherit my moms personality
Next Time (Inheritance Poem) by Sarah
Next time you come, you get it all is the game
But every time i go, its always the same.
You're not mature enough Sarah, I promise next time
Except that maybe they wont become mine
Says my aunt to me when i visit her place
But every time I go, I end up losing the race
To get what is rightfully mine
My mother's belongings, said they were all mine
But i don't know if i can get them
The Next Time
But every time i go, its always the same.
You're not mature enough Sarah, I promise next time
Except that maybe they wont become mine
Says my aunt to me when i visit her place
But every time I go, I end up losing the race
To get what is rightfully mine
My mother's belongings, said they were all mine
But i don't know if i can get them
The Next Time
Poverty Litany poem by Medina's Homeroom
poverty is life, everyone goes through poverty at one point in life
Poverty is an endless maze
poverty is being stuck, confined, trapped, shackled, imprisoned; a life that nobody wants and a life that nobody deserves
poverty is horrible almost everyone faces it
poverty is a chance to understand one another or fight one another
Poverty is Like Your Drowning in a pool, trying To Reach the Top To Breath
Poverty is a family of five having to live in one single motel room.
poverty is like a jail when their is no way out
Poverty is like your shadow its gonna follow you no matter what you do
Poverty is like plastic, it never decades or leaves, it's just there.
Poverty is like playing a football game, if only you are trying to get out of a big deficit, you will fall short, but if the whole team picks it up then you can get through it.
Poverty is like an ocean of stress, trying to consume you and trapping you in your own little prison cell.
Poverty is Being Stuck In A Hole And Cant Get out
Poverty is a dark hole, no matter if you trun on a fire you will never see the end of the dark cave.
Poverty is like a fishing net, it traps everything in it's way.
poverty is a bear trap you struggle and struggle but it can't come off unless somebody helps
Poverty is like a puzzle missing a piece
Poverty is like trying to get out of a box that is closed and never get out unil someone help you get out of the box
Poverty is like your future, you can't escape it
Poverty is like a game of tug of war, pulling hard with others to get through it
Poverty is a prison of the mind and body hidden by those who don't want to see it.
Poverty Is What Breaks Families, In Every Day Life Little By Little
Poverty is when you live in a really poor neighborhood and that gets you in to poverty in a poor neighborhood there is not a lot of good jobs not a lot of buisness
Poverty is something you cant escape from its always there pulling you down
poverty is something that will always will be here and will pull you down into struggles
poverty is something that you struggle and it can't come out
Poverty is an endless maze
poverty is being stuck, confined, trapped, shackled, imprisoned; a life that nobody wants and a life that nobody deserves
