When immigrants arrive in the U.S. they are treated very poorly. Many people are racist towards them and even Mexicans living in the U.S. call them names and treat them indifferently. Which of these segments impacted you the most (train, gangs, vigilantes) and why? After learning more about the situations that undocumented immigrants experience do you see yourself as more caring for them and what they have experienced? Ex
The most important one that i think was train because immigrants tell you what happened to them when they got on the train. Some people get their feet cut off, fingers, or their whole waist. I think that we should care the immigrants because they have experience more horrible things then us by just crossing the border to get a job or live there.

I think the train segment really impacted me. These people are risking there lives to live the so called "American Dream". They are loosing limbs just to get better work and a better live instead of being in major poverty.
I think what impacted me the most was trains because the trains are dangerous but these people don't care they just want to get on the trains. Yes but i always have wanted to find a way to help but i cant. I feel sad for everything they have to go through

What impact me the most was that The Train of Death. This is because when the people try getting on the train they know that they are put each other in danger. They know that if they try their arm or leg or their body can be cute off. Many people have die trying to get on the train and some people don't seem to care if one of them dies. Yes, because i already knew that it was a change to cross. But, that what they put through just to get a better life was amazing. They suffer just so their family wouldn't.

i think the chapter that impacted me the most is gangs because so many people got killed by the gangs and it is sad.
i think that i feel more about the situation because you dont think about the things that happened until you see pictures
The train and the gangs impact me because the train hurt may people when they wanted to get on like the train and they didn't make it and they fell the train would get the the leg or the feet or both and they would have to cut it off and most of them could walk any more . Also the gangs would kill the people and that take everything from them like there was a boy that had new shoes and one of the gangs told the boy to take off the neww shoes but he didn't so they short him two time and die they do whatever they want to get. I do see myself caring more about because it sad that people do that to get a better life but something they can't because the train them and can't walk any more or they get kill by the gangs or get hurt by them so i do care about it more because i didn't really didn't know about this now i know and i do care and the thing that happen to these people is very sad.

What impacted me the most was the train segment because seeing the immigrants trying to get across most of the Mexican territory by getting on the train itself but end up getting hurt, get part of their leg(s) amputated and become victims to the train of death. After learning this, I do find myself more caring.

i think the chapter that impacted me the most was the train of death. It's tells us how some immigrants get hurt while getting onto the train of death. Since the train death is fast many people get hurt like get their legs cutt off but it seems like the immigrants don't care cause they just want to cross. After learning more about what immigrants do to cross is breath taking cause they will do anything just so their family could have a better/wondeful life, it's very nice & it's something i think people should respect.

I think the segment that impacted me the most was probably the one of the trains. To see what these people face just to get accross the border is very life risking. They face the fear that they may die to get to the border just to have people disrespect them and maybe even deport them. It shows that we have to give them a chance if they risk their lives for this better chance. Yes I do feel more compassionate towards them because they risk their lives for them and their families.

It's crazy how organized these crimes are as well. I find my self even MORE shocked after watching this video. All the challenges and obstacles that they go through seem almost impossible. the thing that impacted me the most was the gangs. they were to rape MEN just to prove they have no limit. and how they also risk their lives so they can just hurt someone. i was surprised how they were able to build a gun with only water pipes!!!
i thought that the train sections is what impacted me the most . Mexicans who are just trying to "live the American life" are having to suffer so much , most of these immigrants are doing these challenges for their children , all they want is a better education and or better jobs . Money is a big factor , everything is around money . Lots of people lost their limes getting ran over by the train they were riding , or getting chopped up by some gang members . One immigrant got ran over by the train and that ended everything , he wasn't going to see his wife in Virginia he told her to forget about him and live her life as well as she could. This shows that immigrants really risk LOTS of things just to get to to United States some even got killed . This is getting out of hand , the big question is how is this going to stop or is it even going to stop ?

The chapter of the documentary that really impacted me and brought me most attention was the train chapter. Having to see people lose their limbs from jumping on the cargo trains, risking themselves to getting injured is impacting. As well the powerful pictures of the men losing a leg, a foot, it makes you feel sorry for them and fortunate that your not one of them.

The train was wich most impacting one to me because you see all these people risking their life just to cross the border. Some survived but now they lost a limb or limbs, in one shot they lost their legs, they sacrifice them for a chance to cross. It shows their desperation to cross.
After learning more about the situations that undocumented immigrants experience do you see yourself as more caring for them and what they have experienced? Ex. Well seeing this it shocks me, and i do feel really bad for them. They are losing what they have for a better life. I believe one of the videos that got my attention was the train and impacted it more in this situation because everyone who got on the train to go to United States. A lot of people were injured in there travel. The injury was very major that they lost parts of their body for example their legs; arms; feet and much more. There was a man who got injured on the train that he told his wife to forget about him. I suppose he didn't think he was good enough anymore for her. Many wanted to go to the USA for a better future and for other reasons but they lost it all and they lost part of themselves.

All the video really got my attention but one that really got my attention was the trains. People tried so hard to pass to the United States. People got hurt. People lose their hands, feet, legs or other parts of the body. They suffer a lot to get on trains just to have a better future. Even a guy in the video said that in Guatemala they didn't have opportunities at all. They knew if they go to another country like United States. Also another guy said to his wife to not care about him. That she keep going with her life and working hard cause he know that he would not be able to go with them another because he lost his feet. They couldn't believe what happened to them ( lost parts of their body) just to go and have a better life. They risk their life a lot. This could happen to many people who tried to pass the border.

To me the Train was the one that got me. All the people running to the only vessel that can bring them to land of dreams are crushed and injured. They have to leave their family and all they owned just to have their arms or legs amputated. To me that is a really hard thing to go through, it makes you just want to give up. One of the men was going to go to Virginia to his wife. But then he wasn't able to because he accidentally fell. That man felt like he couldn't go to Virginia anymore due to his disability so he told his wife to forget about him and start a new life. I think this man was really kind and generous to let his wife live the dream even though he couldn't so it was really big sacrifice. Yes this has made me realize all what they've been going through to get here just to have a better life.

The story that impacted me the most was the one about the gangs. it is scary and surprising how these stories are not being noticed. bad stuff is going on with the gangs and nobody talks about it. i think this one impacted me the most because it just left me speechless. the part how these crimes go unnoticed. it is very crazy and simply, sad. how are gang members committing horrible crimes involving the immigrants; how is it going unnoticed? the stories i heard really just left me with no words. but they did leave me with a lot of questions. i have always cared for those who are undocumented. but yes, after watching all of these videos i do feel even more i guess you can say "passionate" about the subject. my grandmother tried to become a citizen of the United States for YEARS. she finally ( recently too ) got her green card and is allowed over here. i think this is why i don't judge those who don't have papers. i know what they go through and everything. so yes i do feel more caring for them
I think the one about the trains was pretty interesting. It was sad that people risk there lives to get on the train to go to the US. People are losing their legs and feet. They are now not able to walk for the rest of their life. For some people the train is their only hope because it is going to a place where they can change their whole life around. They can live a better life. That train is what they been waiting for. They put their life at risk, but for some of them is worth it.

They also robed them and stold their food, blankets, money, clothes, etc.The other video that impacted me was the train of death because their were people that had gotten engered seviarly. For example, this man who was in a bed and said he was trying to make it to Virginia but then he got both of his legs cut off. I think seeing this man like this was very sad all he was trying to do was go to the US to have a better life because in Mexico there is not so many opportunities. After learning about immigrants it makes me more caring for them because it is very sad knowing all these scary, dangerous things they have to do in order to have a better life.

To see poeple die, raped, randomly killed, and robbed would immidetly hit the news. But if your poor you will never get regonized, even if your family suffered a great fate. Our nation only foucuses on itz own poeple and not the suffering of others or even if the poeple it in employs is making sure that they are treated as humans. I believe that the vigualanties are make threats to poeple who want to make a better life, they care the thought that you should do everything leagally and if you aren't a natrual born citizen they can have their way with you. I believe that if poeple are going to get killed, it should at least be a random or peaceful death. This era of man kind is to good for barbaric deaths that are not needed. Especialy by those who use STUPID exscuses to kill poeple. Those poeple have no right to recive forgiveness from any nationality. If they believe that Americans are the supirior people then they need to prove it.

I think all the segments impacted me. The train segment made me think of what people get themselves into to have a better life. Sometimes chasing your success in life can never be accomplished because of what they go through. For example, loosing a limb. The gangs segment made me think that why do people steal from eachother. Others risk their lifes trying to get on a moving trian, hoping to cross the border, and find work. Instead from stealing from others, why not get your own jobs. Lastly, vigilantes was even more sickening than the gangs. To just stop someone and ask for their identification is wrong. It is just like stopping someone that's walking by you on the street and ask them for their identification at gun point.

Alot of these people have fell and their legs have been chopped of due to falling and the train going over their legs. The one that affected me emotionally most was the part about the train. Seeing that people risked their lives to get something we take advantage of everyday is really a wake-up call to some people. Also, the most relatable part I saw was about the people that think they can take the law 'into their own hands.' I've seen these people at work before, and they are extremely racist and do not even care about who these people are or where they come from. The things I saw in this video relates to which I have been talking about poverty so much. In conclusion, these are just few realities.

And I don't really know what some of my cousins do when they're with their gangs but this video gives me like hints to what they do and I'd rather not know what they do. The one segment that really did catch my attention was the trains. They showed many people that were hurt by the trains. Most of them were injured because they fell off the train. Their injuries were really gruesome and severe. And because of falling off the train, some people can't get to where they wanted to be. There was a man who wasn't with his wife anymore.

I think that the segment that was the most impacting was the train part.I think it's sad that people got hurt. Some people got their legs cut. They only wanted to get a better life by crossing the border to the U.S. I think people including me should appreciate that they aren't suffering like others in not only Mexico, but in other places.

I think that the one that touched me the most was the train. It touched me the most because just like Marianna its sad that people got hurt and there legs got cut off. I think i do see myself more caring because all they wanted was a better life and i would have done the same.

I know many people have wrote this but the situation that impacted me the most was the train segment. It's just unbarable to see them all injured and sick, it's just so sad. They basically risk their lives to live the so called "American Dream", and what is that dream? I don't think that dream is to go to the U.S. and be treated poorly and discriminated. It hurts so much to see people suffer, and it hurts even more to see people get severely hurt and nobody even cares. I am caring towards them, because some of them leave so they can live and give their chilldren a future they would have wanted. They've just come a long way and you can't blame them for not wanting to come here.

the segment that impacted me the most was the one about the trains. this impacted me because as i saw the people laying in the bed injured i felt bad because some of them wanted to try to go live with their families but as going they were badly injured. Some of them lost their legs, arms, etc it was sad and that is why that one impacted me.

This video showed me how dangerous and tough gangs, the train crossing the boarder, and vigilantes can be by struggling and giving up your own things just to get a better life. I feel sorry for the people you survived, died, or didn't get make it. some had luck while others didn't and suffered. I think that there should be a change to stop all this.

I believe one of the videos that really got my attention was the "Manta Gente" one. It impacted more on this situation because everyone who got on the train wanted to go to the United States. A lot of people got hurt on this journey. Their injuries are major, they even lost parts of their bodies. For example they lost their arms; legs; feet and much more. There was a man who got seriously injured on the "Manta Gente" that he told his wife to forget about him. I suppose he didn't think he was not good enough for his wife. Many people want to go to the USA for a better life style and other things, but everything vanished in a matter of minutes or seconds. All of this vanish because of the "Manta Gente".
Every segment got to me because i was thinking that if i was in there situation that, i would be thinking to my self that this is going to be hard and that i have to protect myself and be careful of what's going to go upon me. But at same time i say i'am glad that i don't have to try to cross the border and risk my life to do that.

The segment that impacted me the most was trains because very horrible things happened to the people that trie to come to the us. I think that it is very sad for the people that try to jump on trains because they are risking their lives. It must be hard to jump on the trains without getting hurt. Many people that try to jump on the trains get perts of their body cut off and cant walk anymore. There are also people that get jumped when they are on the trains. I think this is very horrible for the people that trie to cross.

The thing that impacted me the most is the segment of "Gangs" because the Mara salva trucha made their own gun and it was a very powerful one, not just that, they also killed a little kid because he didn't want to give them his new pair of shoes. After watching this i guess i would have to be more careful because theres people outside that can be bad and can do bad stuff to me, People would risk their lives and come to the U.S to look for a better future.
